Janice and Tolbert Morris founded the Helping Hands Outreach Clinic in 2004, fulfilling a dream to serve the unmet basic healthcare needs of indigent and uninsured residents in Rockdale, Newton, Dekalb and the Metro Atlanta area. Soaring demand for the Clinic’s services has resulted in more than 23,000 patient visits over the past 16 years. The Clinic is able to meet this demand with a robust and well-organized army of healthcare volunteers, who are fueled by the contagious passion and commitment the Morris’ have for serving the uninsured and under-insured.

Internship
Helping Hands Health Clinic also serves as a training facility for student volunteers that hail from Georgia State,Walden University, Mercer Universities, Emory Universities, as well as the Rockdale County Career Academy local school system. All volunteers are trained onsite with mentors in their specialty area.

Limited Cardiology Services: Our clinic offers in house EKG's and limited cardiology services.

Gastroenterology Services: Our highly qualified staff manage digestive problems such as reflux, gastritis, ulcer disease, diverticulitis, colitis, colon cancer screening, and liver disease to name a few

The goal of Helping Hands Outreach Clinic is to provide primary care and preventive health care services for our residents regardless of their ability to pay. Successful implementation of our program has been evaluated in our ability to prevent, Acute and Chronic illnesses through health screenings, preventative. Providing health education and encouraging lifestyle modifications that promote wellness, that has contributed to helping save billions of dollars every year through reduced hospitalizations and ER use.
We are health care providers giving back to our local communities. Services provide by License professional Doctor’s, Nurses, Lab Tech,CNA, MA, PA’s Nurse Practitioner. Our administrative staff are committed to the belief that "Everyone Deserves a Helping Hand".
